Special Edition: Disney's All Star Music Resort

What makes it a value?
V alue Resorts are called that because they are the least expensive resorts on Disney property. While it is true that the occasional discount can potentially make a Moderate or even Deluxe resort a better choice for your family, when you are looking at base price, no discount involved, Value Resorts are the clear winner. These resorts are perfect if you are looking to stretch your budget so that you can afford other things make your vacation special such as souvenirs and even Table Service or Signature Dining. Also, if like many guests you plan to spend most of your time in the parks, they can definitely be the most economical option.

Room amenities

All rooms, whether they are a Standard or Preferred room offer the same amenities. Standard and Preferred are labels that truly only indicate how close the room is to the main building and transportation! Each room offers: 2 full size beds(except where otherwise indicated); a bathroom with a separate sink area, complete with basic toiletries; a hairdryer; an iron and ironing board; a cooler for your beverages; in-room safe; telephone with voicemail; and free Wi-Fi. This Value Resort also offers suites in addition to regular 4 person rooms. Each suite can accommodate up to 6 adults and has a coffee pot, microwave, and extra bathroom in addition to the amenities of the regular rooms.

Recreation

All Disney Resorts offer themed pools(main pool); campfire activities; an arcade; movies under the stars; a playground; and jogging trails. Additionally, some special activities are available at the main pool. Some of these offerings are a separate fee.

Dining

A Quick Service Dining location is available at each of the Value Resorts. It is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and offers lots of choices for both hot and cold meals, a beverage cooler, ice cream, and a bakery. Items for guests with food allergies are also available on request. Check you MDE app for dining location times, offerings, and to order your meal online! This resort has the Intermission Food Court.

Shopping

Each Disney Resort has a specially themed gift shop with items that you can only find at their location, as well as more general merchandise, snacks, basic toiletries and over the counter medicine, and even alcohol for purchase by guests 21 and over. This location’s shop is located at the main building.

Pool Bar

Each Disney Resort offers a pool bar at the main pool. Libations to enhance your vacation are available for purchase by guests 21 and over. This location has the Singing Spirits Pool Bar.

Complimentary parking and transportation

Parking is free for guests of all Disney Resort hotels for guests. Additionally, transportation to the parks and Disney Springs is also complimentary , as well as parking at these locations if you’re a guest at a Disney Resort. This location offers transportation by bus.

Disney Value Resorts: Which one is Best?

Why are they called Value Resorts? Pop Century The Disney Value Resorts are called that because they are the least expensive resorts that Disney has to offer. In other words, staying at one of these will stretch that Disney Budget farther. Currently, there are 5 Values: Pop Century , The Art of Animation , All Star Music , All Star Movie s, and All Star Sports . What amenities and entertainment can I expect at a Value Resort? All of these resorts will have a counter service restaurant, a pool bar, a gift shop, a themed pool near the main building, guest laundry, Movies Under the Stars, and special resort activities at the main pool. Dining Review: The Whispering Canyon at The Wilderness Lodge

Availability The availability of this dining location is dependent upon the travel seasons at Disney . On this particular occasion I was able to secure a dining reservation just a few days before, but I have been unable to find an open reservation in the past at times.
