Why Should I Book a Disney Vacation for the Fall?

It’s time!

Believe it or not, it’s time to book a Disney vacation if you plan on going this fall! Yes, I know it’s not even summer yet, but as the saying goes, if you snooze you lose!

How’s the weather?

Gone will be the extreme heat of summer! While it will still be warm, even hot, it will not be that stifling heat that summer in Florida brings! Yes, there will be rain at times, but it’s Florida! There’s always a chance of rain!

Does Epcot have a festival?

Of course Epcot has a festival! Crowd favorite, The Food and Wine Festival to be precise! So many tasty morsels from around the world for you to taste and enjoy! So many libations from so many countries! So much to love! And don’t forget the Eat to the Beat concert series! You can even guarantee a seat at the concert by booking an Eat to the Beat Dining Package! Watch for the announcement of these dining packages!

What’s special at The Magic Kingdom?

Why Mickey and Minnie’s Not So Scary Halloween Party of course! This special event does require a separate ticket and many of these parties will sell out, so make your plans now! Tickets for this year’s events go on sale April 27, 2023 for guests with a resort reservation and will be available for the general public on May 2, 2023. When will the party be held? August 11-November 1, 2023 on select nights! Click here for more details!

What about discounts?

Discounts are available for Annual Passholders, as well as the general public for dates up to September 28, 2023. If you qualify for the Military Discounts, there are select dates available through December 15, 2023. Chase Disney Visa cardholder discounts are also available through September 7, 2023.

If you plan to travel later than the dates listed above, stay tuned! October-December discounts should be available beginning in about 30-45 days. Of course, discounts are not a given! If the resorts are booked solid, Disney has no reason to put out an offer! And remember, if you book now and a discount is dropped later, you can apply the discount to your trip, provided it qualifies for the discount, and they have not booked all of the available rooms!

Anything else?

Absolutely! Fall is one of the most beautiful times at Walt Disney World! Mickey will be sure to decorate for the festivities with all of the signs of fall all over, but especially the Magic Kingdom!

While it is true that I love all things Disney , the attractions, the parades, the fireworks, the characters, the thing I love most at Disney is the dining! Disney Value Resorts: Which one is Best?

Why are they called Value Resorts? Pop Century The Disney Value Resorts are called that because they are the least expensive resorts that Disney has to offer. In other words, staying at one of these will stretch that Disney Budget farther. Hollywood Studios: What can I expect? Hollywood Studios, like Epcot , is not like the MagicKingdom . It is not like Epcot either. So what is it? Originally, Hollywood Studios was a small theme park named MGM Studios. The theming of the park was a day on a Backlot in Hollywood. Everything that was originally there had to do with the making of movies. Though it was my favorite park, it had a problem. It earned the reputation of a half-day park. Through the years, it has changed significantly. Today’s version of Hollywood Studios is definitely a full day park.
