Special Edition: Tron Lightcycle/Run

 Walt Disney World's Newest Attraction  New attractions in any of Walt Disney World's four theme parks are exciting! Somehow, when the attraction is in The  Magic Kingdom it is even more exciting! After all, this was the first park the Disney Company built in Orlando, Florida! In addition, this is a thrill ride unlike anything else in The Magic Kingdom! What exactly is it?  Tron Lightcycle/Run is a thrill ride, similar to, but not exactly like a coaster. The thrill comes from the 60 mph ride coupled with a super fast launch (think Rockin' Rollercoaster ). There are some hills, but speed and a ride vehicle you sit on top are the main attractions here!  Who can ride? The height requirement is 48" which is the most restrictive to date and is only shared by Rockin' Rollercoaster at Hollywood Studios . How do I Know if my Family will Enjoy the Newest Rides at WDW?

​ Why does it matter? Some family and friend groups that travel together have young children. Some guests have issues with Motion Sickness. For both of these types of guests it can be important to know ahead of time if a new attraction is appropriate for some or all of your group! After all, the idea is to have fun!  Rider Swap Disney has a Rider Swap program for guests who are vacationing with children that are do not meet the height requirement of specific rides. You can also utilize this program if you have a child who is less than enthusiastic about a specific attraction, but both parents wish to experience the ride. How does it work? The whole family waits in line together. When you reach the front of the line, simply notify the cast member that you wish to use Rider Swap.  Then, the guest who is not able to ride waits with parent A while parent B is riding.
